Looking for some STEAM activities at home? PDL has just acquired the Learner Maker Lab database. Over 500 age appropriate projects with complete instructions and supply lists are available to use. Projects include crafts, building projects, and cooking. Try it today!

Fall Family Storytime!

Tuesdays at 11 AM September 6th – October 11th

Thursdays at 10:30 AM September 8th – October 13th

Join us for stories, songs, rhymes and more! This program is intended for children ages 2-5 and their families and is limited to 20 children. Please register each child separately.

Registration begins one week before each Storytime date.

Fall Babytime!

Mondays at 10:30 am: September 19, October 3, November 28

Fridays at 10:30 am: September 9, October 21, November 11

Baby Time is a 15-minute story, song and rhyme time, followed by a 30-minute playtime.

This program is for babies aged six to 24 months old and their care-givers. Only the care-giver and baby may attend. No siblings please. No registration required.

B.A.R.K. Reading Program

B.A.R.K. is a reading program focused on children’s learning. A child will be paired with a therapy dog for a 15-minute reading session. The Paws & Effect team provides support while the child gets supervised reading practice, helping to develop vocabulary, increase understanding, fluency, and confidence.

Time slots are available on Sept. 7th, Oct. 29th, and Nov. 9th and 12th. Visit the Events Calendar for more information. Registration is required for this program. To register either stop by the Youth Help Desk on the Lower Level or call (734)453-0750, option 5 for available appointment times or to be added to the waitlist.
