- Browse our booklists for summer reading inspiration: Youth or Teen
- What book, movie, or music do you recommend?
- Use BrainFuse Help Now for homework and final exam help
- Visit us at the Farmers Market on June 4th!
- Start a teen book club with your friends using our Book Stacks collection!
- Join a library book club, or check out a Book Club Kit or E-book Club Kit for your own book club!

Week 2: June 5 to June 11
- Tell us about your last read! Submit a review
- Find your next great read on NoveList Plus or NoveList K-8 Plus
- Try an experiment from a book in our youth STEAM collection
- Try the Bike Fix-It Station.
- Adults – Attend “More Than a Pronoun: A Conversation on Gender Identity and Expression”, Thursday, June 9 at 7pm
- Teens: Play video games in the Teen Zone!
- Stream a movie on Kanopy or Kanopy Kids
- Visit us at the Farmer’s Market on June 11
- Listen to a story on Tumble Books or LOTE (Languages Other Than English)
- Write and mail a letter to a friend or relative!
- Have a sleepover and share scary stories
- Traveling? Try an audio book on CD, Hoopla, or Libby
Week 3: June 12 to June 18
- Read Outside!
- Try LOTE: a multi-language storytime program
- Draw a character or scene from your favorite book. Show us your creation!
- Check out a VOX book for kids!
- Subscribe to the library’s YouTube channel.
- Get the library app!
- Attend the Graphic Novel Book Club (ages 9-12) Wednesday 6/15 at 6:30pm
- Adults/teens: Celebrate Juneteenth at the library on Wednesday 6/15 at 7:00pm!
- Kids: stop in for our open house on the last day of school! Wednesday, 6/15 from 11-3.
- Visit us at the Farmer’s Market on June 18
- Adults: Attend the “Hook and Needle Social Group” on June 15 at 10:30am

Week 4: June 19 to June 25
- Connect with the library on social media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok
- Work on the community jigsaw puzzle, located on the main level near the Teen Zone, or do a puzzle in the Youth department.
- Read a book in a new-to-you genre, such as romance, mystery, or sci-fi.
- Attend an outdoor concert in Kellogg Park
- Join us for Kids Yoga! Monday, June 20 – Ages 3-5, 6:30-7; Ages 6+, 7:30-8
- Attend storytime on Wednesday, June 22 at 10:30am (ages 2-5)
- Research your family history with our genealogy databases
- Teens: Be a “Big Buddy” in our Reading Buddies program this summer!
- Kids: Be a “Little Buddy” at our Reading Buddies program this summer!
- Perform kitchen science experiments!
- Ask any library staff member what they’re reading this week!

Week 6: July 3 to July 9

- Spot our book bike around town! Where were we?
- Find a treasure in the Friends Used Book Sale!
- Check out both the book and the audio book of a title, then follow along in the book while you listen! What book did you choose?
- Write to your Congress person about any issue that matters to you!
- Attend storytime on July 6 at 10:30am (ages 2-5)
- Attend “Rendezvous with Death: The Ryder Brothers at Gettysburg,” a local history program, on Zoom on Tuesday, July 5 at 7:00pm

- Experiment in our Creative Lab
